I've seen more existing WebGL examples of "star bursts" and similar lighting effects on particles not working in IE 11 WebGL.
Just a bug report ... please fix. WebGL is all about animation and gfx. You can not have a bug around pushing a low fidility and rendering experience when publishing IE 11.
