Bug IE11 WebGL: Lighting effects i.e. rendering "star bursts", "rays" on particles ... does not work?

Look at this example in Google chrome ... http://lights.elliegoulding.com/ ... then take a look in IE 11 ...

I've seen more existing WebGL examples of "star bursts" and similar lighting effects on particles not working in IE 11 WebGL.

Just a bug report ... please fix. WebGL is all about animation and gfx. You can not have a bug around pushing a low fidility and rendering experience when publishing IE 11.

I am not a web developer so I don't really know how to code WebGL graphics but please check-

1. The page is not using vendor-specific WebGL extensions. For more information, see this (first paragraph).

2. Please check if those methods (used in the lightning effects and "star bursts") are supported by IE 11. Checking the JavaScript file should reveal what methods are used. You should find a reference to the JS file in the HTML source.

If those methods are supported, file a bug at Microsoft Connect. If they aren't, file a suggestion at Microsoft Connect.

BTW The problem has been reported at MS Connect for IE. WebGL is still under dev and experimental for IE11 ...

To keep on with any Progress on WebGL compatibility you can use http://webglreport.com/ to test ie11 or any other the browser.

WebGL is still an experiementel current on 0.9. It will probably be on 1.0 in August? Hopefully with support for some WebGL extensions as well? (try comparing ie11pre with some recent version of Chrome)
